Ironically, it won’t allow me to enroll without a “five digit PIN number” and despite repeat attempts, they have failed to mail me the PIN in the 5-8 day period promised. Ready to boot them, this is it.

That’s the way to go, if you’re lucky enough to have that option. I haven’t met a person using a well-known ISP that doesn’t have issues to complain about, or is upset about the service being provided.

Small, local ISP with a symmetrical 100/100 connection for $60/month. Couldn’t be happier.

It seemed reasonable for me to not pay for it, seeing as I OWNED THE CABLE MODEM!

Two months later, a Comcast rep called me to tell me I was right. Imagine my shock.

I never returned my cable box because I, um, lost it. So, Comcast charges me $80 for this valuable hardware when I cancelled service. For at least a year, I received a paper bill for $0.00 every month, and like you, I had to play customer service roulette to finally get through to someone who had access to the Other Database to Fix My Account.

It was confirmation of an appointment for one “HARVEY, HARLAN” of PRINCE GEORGE, VA 23875-2025. Yeah, swing and miss. I live in Canada and have nothing to do with Xfinity or Imbecility or whatever they’re called.

If I were nasty, I’d use all the private information in the email to socially engineer some account changes and appointment chaos. But I’m not that naughty.
